In my series, “Roots of Time,” I explore the relationship between nature and its destruction through dreamlike images of trees. These trees are faded, giving a sense of something lost or remembered. Some trees are placed in glass cubes, showing how nature is fragile and needs protection. Others seem to grow from cracks in the ground, symbolizing resilience and the fight for survival.
These artworks highlight the balance between preserving and harming nature. The faded look of the trees suggests that our natural world is fragile and temporary. “Roots of Time” invites viewers to think about their own connection with nature and the importance of caring for our environment.
